Monsanto wins STPI Award for the second year in a row

Recognised for having the highest percentage of differently – abled employees

Mumbai, 4 December 2014: Monsanto has been recognised by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) with STPI IT Export Award for employing the highest percentage of differently–abled employees in the state of Karnataka for 2013-14. The company received the prestigious award at a felicitation ceremony held at Bangalore on 13th November 2014. This is the second year in a row Monsanto has received this award.

Every year the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and the Government of Karnataka come together to recognize IT/ITES companies under various categories of excellence as a part of their coveted ‘IT Export Awards’.  The awards have been in existence for the past 15 years to promote growth & desirable business/people processes in this fastest growing industry of the country. The Bangalore-based Shared Services Centre (SSC) of Monsanto started operations in 2005 and has grown from a 7-member team to more than 100 members, providing services across ~50 countries where Monsanto has operations.
