Caution against Fraudulent Job Offers


Monsanto India / Bayer would like to bring to the attention of the general public that there have been some recent instances of fraudulent job offers being made by some unscrupulous individuals/entities impersonating themselves as members of the Human Resources team of Monsanto.

Members of the public have been contacted via email by these unscrupulous individuals/entities informing them of “acceptance” of their candidature for certain jobs in Monsanto’s overseas offices. In these cases, emails IDs (such as “@CA-MONSANTO.COM”) which closely resemble Monsanto’s and Bayer’s official email IDs were used in an attempt to defraud or cheat members of the public.

All emails originating from Monsanto/Bayer shall be from domain “@MONSANTO.COM” or “@BAYER.COM”. Monsanto only follows official channels such as the University Placement Offices or University Career Offices should it decide to participate in campus recruitments.

The public is hereby advised to exercise caution should they receive any email representing themselves to be from Monsanto/Bayer which originate from domain names other than the official domains of Monsanto and Bayer - “@MONSANTO.COM” or “@BAYER.COM”. Monsanto and Bayer shall not be responsible or liable for any claims, offers, statements or representations that may be made through emails from any unofficial domains.
